Intersex people are those whose sexual features do not fit within the framework of strictly male/female bodily attributes. Considering the social realities and prevalent perspectives manifested in the laws of most countries, which categorize individuals solely into the binary of man and woman—predicated upon presumed natural characteristics—referred to as binary laws, they face numerous challenges including social isolation and the infringement upon their fundamental rights being overlooked
