Abstract

Citizenship represents a sense of belongingand loyalty to one’s homeland, both intimes of peace and conflict, as well as
cooperation with fellow citizens to achievesocial security. Citizenship is a sociopolitical construct that encompasses therights and obligations associated with a person’s nationality.
