Abstract

Birgaon, a rapidly urbanizing locality, faces significant challenges related to wastewater management. Multiple open drains(Naalas) in the region discharge untreated effluents directly into nearby ponds, leading to the progressive degradation andcontamination of these aquatic ecosystems. In response to the growing water scarcity in the area, the present study investigates a sustainable approach to wastewater treatment prior to its discharge.Drain
